Job summary

TERREPOWER is seeking a Warehouse Specialist I to support our Colonie, NY distribution operations. You will pick items from inventory, prepare shipments, and enter data into the shipping system to generate tickets.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally 50 lbs, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ability to input data into computer systems and create reports.
• Familiarity with FedEx and UPS processes.
• Flexible, friendly and helpful disposition.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Obtain products from Inventory and Inspection to fill orders and accurately identify information and quantities.
• Prepare containers for shipment and place items in correct containers, packing accordingly.
• Enter shipments into the computer system to generate a shipping ticket.
• Receive and unload incoming materials and compare quantities on packing slips to items received.
• Inspect for damage, document discrepancies, and report damaged goods to supervisor.
• Enter goods received into the inventory system per instructions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Participate in period end inventory counts and record counts clearly.
