Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to load and unload trucks and outside carriers as well as store shipments securely in the warehouse. You will pick orders from warehouse inventory, cooperate with dispatch, and complete all paperwork accurately.

The ideal candidate has 1 year forklift experience, a certified forklift license, and a high school diploma or GED. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read and follow safety procedures, and work in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• 1 year forklift driving experience.
• Certified forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading truck/trailers safely and efficiently.
• Picking and moving 1 lb to 50 lbs or more.
• Ensure documentation is completed.
• Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve discrepancies.
• Store inbound loads in correct warehouse location.
• Ensure shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• Spot trailers to maintain yard organization and flow of equipment.
• Process outbound freight cross-dock freight as necessary.
• Operate Forklifts (Stand-up Reach, Cherry Picker, and some sit-down forklift).
