Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Material Handler in a DC environment to support inbound and outbound freight processing, including receiving, labeling, putaway, order picking, and related tasks. You may work with RF guns and standard warehouse equipment while documenting activities and supporting productivity metrics.

Candidates should have basic computer skills, able to work independently or in a team, and possess good communication and record-keeping abilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs one or more of a variety of functions in a Distribution Center environment associated with fulfilling orders for retail stores and/or other Distribution Centers.
• Documents production log appropriately to include changes in assignments, downtime, meetings, etc. to ensure productivity records are accurate.
• Completes other assigned duties per business needs.
