Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a Warehouse Associate in San Antonio to perform basic warehousing duties including order fulfillment, packing, and stocking from multiple distribution locations. You will work with scanners, PCs, and printing devices while following safe, accurate procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related manufacturing experience and a High School Diploma or GED, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work varying shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with warehouse picking/stocking is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Familiarity with scanners and basic computer devices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive understanding of picking and stocking documents, labels, and hand held computerized scanners, personal computers and printing devices.
• Properly identify task list for picking assignment.
• Pack, store and redistribute items in an orderly fashion.
• Picking and stocking of merchandise from pre-defined designated storage bin locations.
• Ability to meet or exceed established production goals.
• Use best practices and inventory controls to prevent inventory shrinkage.
• Assist with training new hires and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ability to communicate and elevate with peers and principles.
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility.
• Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment.
