Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform shipping and receiving for a branch. You will pick, check, and ship items from sales orders, prepare items for delivery, and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage. The role requires maintaining stock in an organized system and may involve lifting up to 100 lbs and operating a forklift.

A high school diploma or GED is typical. You may also process counter sales or invoices and assist in keeping a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine items to pick and ship from sales orders.
• Pull orders, verify accuracy, and prepare for delivery.
• Secure packages to prevent damage in shipping.
• Prepare items for customer receipt and returns to DC/fulfillment centers.
• Sort inventory and maintain organized racks and bins.
• Report damaged inventory to warehouse supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• May operate a forklift or related equipment.
