Job summary

UCX in Rochester, NY is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to join our Operations team. You will receive, stock, pick, pack and ship orders while prioritizing accuracy and safety to ensure excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes efficient material handling, proper documentation, and cooperation with coworkers. A High School Diploma and warehouse/Forklift experience are preferred, with the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift and manage up to 80 lbs.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick and fill orders, pack and ship.
• Accurately record materials in the correct warehouse location.
• Check pick sheets and stage materials for loading.
• Operate and maintain safe work area and PPE.
• Load trailers; ensure proper weight and securing.
• Keep equipment stored and charged at shift end.
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors as needed.
• Follow established processes with attention to detail.
