DHL Global Forwarding in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Warehouse Agent to support picking, packing, shipping, receiving, labeling, loading/unloading, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of scanning freight in/out of the warehouse.
• Detail oriented and strong follow-up skills.
• Able to walk/stand/kneel for long periods and lift 40-50 pounds occasionally.
• Fork lift experience (stand up preferred).
• WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) experience preferred.
• Warehouse/Freight Forwarding industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, and segregates incoming shipments for warehouse/distribution facilities.
• Loads/unloads shipments on to/off pallets, trays, racks, shelves by hand.
• Sorts and processes outgoing shipments per procedures and regulations.
• Loads shipments into vehicles and uses strapping, bracing, padding.
• Updates information in computer systems (logs, packing lists, invoices, inventories).
• Maintains inventory records and conducts audits for freight security.
• May perform routine vehicle, equipment, and warehouse maintenance.
• May operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.
