Job summary

Ryder is hiring Warehouse Associates for the Opa Locka, FL area, offering weekly pay and a full benefits package. The role includes driving forklift equipment, loading/unloading trailers, and maintaining clean, safe warehouse operations.

We seek candidates with at least six months of warehouse experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and the flexibility to work first shift. Training is provided, and medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options are available after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and perform basic maintenance.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and perform basic math in English for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure correct scanning.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and ensure security at end of shift.
• Perform material moves and housekeeping in assigned area.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations and related functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
