Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood in Las Vegas is hiring a warehouse associate to pick, pack, label, and stage products for shipment. You’ll work in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse, maintain safety, and meet productivity goals.

Responsibilities include following pick paths, loading/unloading, recording inventory in the WMS, preventing shrink, securing pallets, and keeping work areas clean. Prior experience with material handling equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Experience with reach trucks or forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory systems (WMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow essential selection pick path, select product, correctly label, and stage product on pallet.
• Loading and unloading product deliveries as required.
• Record necessary item information into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain accurate records of shortages and report to Supervisor.
• Stack product on pallet with heavier items on bottom and lighter on top.
• Deliver stacked pallets to assigned area on loading dock for loading.
• Secure pallets with shrink wrap for delivery.
• Minimize warehouse shrink and manage inventory counts.
• Keep work area neat and maintain accurate warehouse locations.
• Observe safety rules and operate equipment safely.
