Cash-Wa Distributing in Kearney, NE is hiring an Entry level Freight Buster to unload semi trucks during daytime shifts. You’ll operate a forklift and pallet jack, move products to the proper warehouse isle, and keep the area clean.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, rising to $19.50 after 90 days with potential increases over the next 18 months. Benefits include paid holidays, discounted product rates, and health insurance eligibility after 60–90 days, plus 401k participation.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to train on equipment (forklift, pallet jack).

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks daily using forklift and pallet jack.
• Break down loads when needed and place products in correct aisles.
• Move products to the proper warehouse location and keep area clean.

Trucks need unloaded – who ya gonna call? Freight Busters! This day-time receiving job is with H & S Lumper Services who exclusively works for Cash-Wa Distributing. As a large distribution center, we regularly have semi truckloads of product being delivered to our facility. This position plays an important part in the distribution process by unloading the trucks, at times breaking down the loads, and then delivering to the warehouse isle that it belongs to. In this role you will use a forklift and a pallet jack as needed (experience is preferred, but we are willing to train). It is a very active position that will involve physical moving product at times. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 pounds. When there is not a truck to unload, will stay busy doing housekeeping and other duties as needed.

Hours: Monday-Friday: 6am start, with rotating Sundays, 7am start

Pay: Starting pay rate of $18/hr, will be at $19.50 after 90 days with frequent increase opportunities semi-frequent through the next 18 months.
