Job summary

Reliable Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Freezer Associate for our Indianapolis-area client. The role will primarily operate in the freezer area, performing loading, unloading, and order fulfillment with high accuracy.

Key duties include picking orders with a riding pallet jack and scan gun, loading outbound shipments, replenishing pick bins, and preparing products for distribution. Safety and OSHA-compliant PIT operation are expected. Working hours are 6am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders with a riding pallet jack and scan gun, load outbound shipments, and use a forklift to bring product down in the racking for the next day’s orders.
• Perform replenishment, order fulfillment (by case and pallet), prepare product for distribution (wrapping pallets and labeling orders), and ship to endpoint destinations.
• Take directions as indicated by scanner or documentation; keep workstation clean; adapt to changing tasks as the distribution center needs.
• Work safely and accurately with minimal supervision; operate PIT equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job description

Warehouse Freezer Associate

Hours: 6am – 2:30pm

The Warehouse Associate will predominantly work in the freezer area. Including tasks such as: load and unload shipments, put away finished production inventory, fulfill orders from freezer area, execute smooth receipt when receiving product, inventory, replenish product in pick bins, and order fulfillment with accuracy in all activity. The Freezer Associate will work with other staff on a daily basis to include, freezer needs for production and janitorial needs.

The positions essential functions:

• The primary function is to pick orders using a riding pallet jack and a scan gun, loading outbound semis and box trucks, and using a forklift to bring product down in the racking for the next day’s orders.
• Perform various warehouse functions including:
  • Replenishment, order-fulfillment (by both case and pallet quantities), prepare product for distribution (including wrapping pallets and labeling orders), and ship product to the endpoint destination.
  • Take directions as indicated by multiple sources: document, scanner or other instruction.
  • Keep your workstation clean.
  • Change tasks and assignments as the needs of our Distribution Center require.
• Work safely and accurately with minimal supervision.
• Operate PIT equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.
