Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Material Handler to support fast-paced warehouse operations. The role includes forklift operation, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting in a clean, safe facility.

Earn weekly pay with a $19.75 hourly rate plus a $1.00 shift premium. Schedules are 2-2-3 rotating, from 6:00pm to 6:00am. Must hold a forklift license; able to lift up to 35 lbs; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Validated forklift operator certification/licence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain day-to-day paperwork in warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
