Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. The position involves operating forklifts, loading/unloading, stacking and securing loads, and supporting janitorial tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shifts vary, including days and nights with weekends.

Starting pay is $16.66 per hour. Candidates need at least 1 year of forklift experience, a valid forklift certification, and basic English literacy for

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as forklift operator
• General janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Valid certification to operate forklifts and ability to pass PIT Training

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or other hand truck to move goods
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft
• Stack goods in correct storage bays and ensure loads are secure
• Move pallets or crates around the facility and perform daily equipment checks
• Provide support to janitorial crew when needed and assist with cleanup
• Maintain inventory control and follow safety procedures in all tasks
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor
