Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler in Lancaster, PA. The role involves operating sit-down forklifts, performing loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00am to 6:00pm. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and 1+ year of warehouse experience. Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Manage day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $19.75 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $29.62 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00/hr for Sundays or full weekends worked
• Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule rotating weekdays and weekends from 6:00am to 6:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
