Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Stand up Reach Operator in Dekalb, Illinois. The position offers weekly pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth within a safety-focused supply chain environment.

You will operate stand-up reach forklifts, support loading and picking, and help maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced facility. Training is provided; medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) options are included after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license/certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsabilités

• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Operate stand-up reach forklift safely and efficiently.
• Audit totes, staging, and cycles; assist with loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse environment (picking sheets, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour.
• Perform duties per contract performance guidelines and take on other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $20.30 per hour
• Schedule: Three-and-a-half day workweek!
• A Shift; Sunday - Tuesday 5:15 am to 4:45 pm and Wednesday 5:15 am to 11:15 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
