Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Romeoville, Illinois is seeking stand-up forklift operators to join a fast-paced warehouse team. You will operate stand-up forklifts, perform loading and packing tasks, and help maintain accurate inventory in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Responsible for dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.50 per hour shift pay
• Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday 6:00pm-6:00am and Wednesday 6:00pm-12:00am
