Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Golden, CO is hiring a Material Handler and Warehouse Forklift Operator. You will operate sit-down double forklifts and support a safe, efficient distribution process in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License required.
• 1 year or more related warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Operate forklift and contribute to cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, returns).
• Support the automated packing system during production shifts.
• Contribute to safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $22.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift
• Schedules Available: 3rd Shift Saturday – Tuesday 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• 3rd Shift Sunday – Wednesday 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
• 1st Shift Saturday – Tuesday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 an hour.

Employees may also be eligible for Shift Premium.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Able to work within a diverse work environment

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
