Job summary

Select Custom Solutions in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Driver to support efficient warehouse operations, following SOPs and safety practices. The role covers multiple warehouse areas, with a Monday–Friday 7am–3pm schedule and potential cross-location assignments.

No prior experience required; in-house training provided. Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic math/computer skills, plus OSHA forklift certification as applicable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • SCS Forklift Driver Certification as required by OSHA.
  • Basic math plus fractions, decimals and percentages.
  • Basic computer operational skills; input and retrieve computerized information.

Responsibilities

  • Follow SOPs for truck-loading and freight receiving.
  • Keep warehouse organized and scan products into correct locations.
  • Read ingredients and count bags on pallets.
  • Complete paperwork for shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Mentor new Warehouse/Forklift Drivers.
  • Floating to different locations as needed

What This Role Is All About

We are looking for a Warehouse Forklift Driver in La Crosse, WI.

The Warehouse Forklift Driver-Warehouse performs all tasks involved in efficient and effective operation of the warehouse, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and practicing safe work habits to ensure the warehouse environment is as efficient and safe as possible. Warehouse/Forklift Drivers are expected to be available to work in all areas of the warehouse.

  • Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures for truck-loading procedures are consistently adhered to.
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures for freight receiving procedures are consistently adhered to.
  • Ensure the warehouse is properly organized and that products are scanned into correct locations.
  • Read ingredients and count bags on pallets.
  • Complete necessary paperwork to ensure all documentation requirements met during shipping/receiving process.
  • Mentor new Warehouse/Forklift Drivers.
  • Floating to different locations as needed
Other Duties And Responsibilities
  • Contact with Production, Inventory, and Quality Assurance to obtain and provide information.
  • Contact with federal/state/regulatory inspectors on an annual basis.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Protocol.
    • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
    • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
    • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications
Education Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Required
  • No experience required; in-house training provided.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Certification/Licensure Required
  • SCS Forklift Driver Certification as required by OSHA.
