Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Hilo Driver to move merchandise through the warehouse from receiving to a customer's car door, loading and unloading with a forklift, and handling required paperwork. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely handling of orders.

Responsibilities include counting and inspecting shipments, maintaining organized work areas, participating in inventories, and supporting warehouse security.

Qualifications

• Experience with service, production, or support roles having responsibility to perform all standard work within the function.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience in related area of responsibility.
• Experience leveraging technology to perform daily tasks, including MS Office applications, web navigation and basic hardware functions.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build rapport with internal teammates and Smart Warehousing business units.
• Proven track record of taking initiative to accomplish tasks with urgency and assertiveness.
• Forklift operator responsibilities for moving, locating, stacking, and counting merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise through the warehouse from receiving to a customer’s car door.
• Complete required paperwork to support the function.
• Tag or mark orders as requested.
• Carefully move product from staging or storage into the truck or trailer being loaded.
• Slot move product and complete the paperwork to support that function.
• Comply with all safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas; promote safety.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouses.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in physical inventories.
