KBS - Kellermeyer Bergensons Services, LLC in Solon, OH is hiring a Warehouse Floor Technician for a full-time, permanent role. You will perform floor care tasks, cleaning, stripping, sealing and basic maintenance to maintain safe, clean facilities.

The role requires physical ability, safety awareness, and following procedures. Night/weekend shifts are possible; prior floor care experience is preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• Read and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Experience with floor care equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout.
• Scrub, shine, clean and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas with proper equipment.
• Clean floors and stairs by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects safely; follow safety guidelines.
• Keep janitor closet organized; report repairs or hazards.
• Follow manufacturer specs for chemicals and equipment use.
• Ensure doors/windows are secure; clock in/out via KBSPresence.
• Report any issues to supervisor; perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate janitorial tools and supplies; prior experience preferred.

Warehouse Floor Technician

Work Schedule
Days and nights vary, including weekends. Night shift: 7 pm – 6 am Wednesday to Saturday. 7 pm – 6 am (alternative) – specify your availability on application.

Duties

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout, etc.
• Scrub, shine, clean and repair carpeted and non‑carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects when necessary and follow safety guidelines.
• Keep janitor closet neat, clean and organized.
• Follow manufacturer specifications for preparing chemicals and using equipment.
• Ensure building doors and windows are secure and locked.
• Report needed repairs, safety hazards or conditions requiring additional service to the supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate and use janitorial tools, equipment and supplies (preferred but not required).
• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.

Requirements

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each.
• Lift and carry objects weighing 15–25 pounds.
• Perform regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching below the waist and above the head.
• Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
• Climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and chemical handling documents (in English; may be in Spanish where required by state).
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, picking, pinching, holding, grasping and wrist motion.
• Use of KBSPresence mobile time‑keeping software to record work hours and training.
• Download and use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device for clocking in/out (cell‑phone reimbursement provided).
