Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or production experience is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, sorting, storing, and distributing materials.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing shipments.
  • Support the shipping department during high-volume periods or staff shortages.
  • Move materials between departments to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts; may operate forklift if certified.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Provide support to other departments as directed by management, demonstrating a willingness to float between teams based on operational needs.

The Warehouse Flex Associate is a versatile team member responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and providing cross-functional assistance across multiple departments, including shipping and production. This role is ideal for someone adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, sorting, storing, and distributing materials.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing shipments as needed.
  • Support the shipping department during high-volume periods or staff shortages.
  • Move materials and products between departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts; may operate forklift if certified.

  • Experience in shipping/receiving or production environments.
  • Basic organizational and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday
  • Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted; team lift required for items exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights consistent with warehouse racking environments
  • Must be able to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods and move throughout a large warehouse facility
Work Environment Characteristics
  • This position operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and moving equipment.
  • The employee may occasionally be required to work in outdoor loading dock areas subject to varying weather conditions.
  • Personal Protective equipment (PPE) including safety footwear, high visibility vests, and gloves is required in designated areas.
  • Schedule flexibility is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
