Job summary

Neovia Logistics in Pennsylvania Eighty Four is seeking a Warehouse Equipment Operator to operate and service forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment in receiving, staging and shipping. You will ensure safe handling, accurate movement of goods, and adherence to logistics policies.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of experience, basic math, and the ability to read and write. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and expertise with electric and manual pallet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in warehousing or logistics.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret documents.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience operating electric/manual pallet jacks, cherry pickers and forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and service mechanical, motorized, and/or electrical equipment safely in warehousing as required in receiving, processing, storing, moving and shipping parts, materials, equipment and supplies.
• Operate equipment safely while moving material and entering/exiting trailers.
• Maintain safety of all personnel within safety zones around operating equipment.
• Lead and assist in verifying quantities, parts, destinations, and timing prior to material movement.
• Lead and assist in using machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Operate and service equipment in the facilities work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe, effective operation and servicing of mechanical, motorized and/or electrical equipment in the facilities work environment Including but not limited to forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, etc. Responsible for the safe movement of goods to or from various locations. Responsible for a sound knowledge of logistics and supply chain, materials management and distribution/transportation processes and policies to meet the business requirements. Electric pallet jack, Manuel pallet jack, cherry picker and forklift.

Pay rate: $17.95

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment during material handling and warehousing as required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies.
• Responsible forthe safe operation of equipment while moving material.
• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment while entering and exiting of trailers.
• Responsible for the safety of all personnel within given safety zones of operating equipment.
• Demonstrate lead and assist in work from a variety of source documents to verify quantities, parts, destinations and timing prior to material movement.
• Demonstrate, lead and assist in the use of machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.
• Responsible for the safe operation, and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and/or electrical equipment in the facilities work environment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
• Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
