Job summary

Owens & Minor in Washington, DC seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform inbound/outbound warehouse tasks using motorized equipment. You'll unload, receive, pack, and ship, while maintaining safety and accuracy. RF/Voice Pick tech and various forklifts ensure efficient operations. Training provided; daytime hours, benefits apply.

Responsibilities include replenishment, put-away, picking, sortation, and final mile loading. Prior warehouse experience a plus; strong math and counts required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of basic topics (math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.)
• Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus
• Warehouse certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers and documents variances
• Counts, verifies and documents variances for inbound shipments
• Moves cases to storage locations using reach trucks or stock pickers
• Picks, packs, and loads outbound products per customer specs
• Prepares sortation area and places cartons by batch codes
• Wraps pallets and loads for final mile shipping
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and report hazards
