Job summary

K&M Tire in Kansas is hiring a Warehouse Employee. The role involves unloading semi-trailers, loading route trucks, and using equipment to pull, pick, and stock tires/products. You will maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety practices at all times.

Schedule is Sun-Thurs 7:30pm-4:30am. We offer growth, internal promotion potential, and competitive benefits to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Experience with warehouse equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist loader for trucks.
• Pull, pick and put-away tires/products with equipment.
• Maintain organized, clean warehouse and accurate stocking.
• Ensure safety with seat-belts, harnesses, and correct operation.
• Support route truck loading and shipping.

Job Summary: The WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEE works under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, Assistant Manager, or Team Leader; responsible for unloading and/or loading trucks, as well as picking/pulling and/or putting away tires/products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for unloading semi-trailers and/or assisting the loader for semi-trailers and route trucks.
2. Use equipment and tools provided on a daily basis accurately and safely to verify, pull/pick, and put-away tires/products.
3. Tires/products should be in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed.
4. Responsible for working safely at all times, including the proper usage or equipment seat-belts and order picker harnesses.
5. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
6. Support Warehouse Manager’s decisions and company goals.
7. Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.
8. Support company goals and uphold K&M Values.
9. Able to receive load through product number verification and check-in.
10. Able to perform Amazon/Walmart pulling/picking and shipping.
11. Able to load all route trucks.

9. Ability to operate safely a fork lift, tire cart, pallet jack and order picker.
10. Ability to learn and utilize scanning devises to accurately confirm tire and shipment
11. Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
