Job summary

Core-Mark seeks an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Los Angeles, CA to maintain warehouse equipment and ensure safety and efficiency. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, read blueprints, and collaborate with operations to keep uptime high.

Responsibilities include using CMMS, welding and sheet metal work, installing or relocating machinery, and upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• 6+ months maintenance and repair or related area.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot/repair trailers, restraint devices, dock leveling ramps, and dock doors.
• Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Collaborate with production associates and management to problem-solve and improve production efficiency.
• Observe mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Investigate electrical and mechanical equipment failures and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Use CMMS to initiate parts orders and document hours worked on work orders.
• Weld and perform sheet metal work using basic shop tools.
• Install, move, and relocate machinery per blueprints.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies and ensure an injury-free environment.
