Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Experience operating various types of vehicles and equipment.
• Proficiency in time management and route planning.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skill set.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly (up to 50 pounds).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and GPS navigation tools (preferred).
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and accident-free driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport warehouse goods and materials to designated locations
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and minimize fuel consumption
• Load, unload, and secure cargo according to safety protocols and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and report them promptly
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating vehicles
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery status and any delays
• Organize and arrange cargo in the vehicle to maximize space and prevent damage during transport
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior
• Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations as needed
