Overview

Famous Supply is a wholesale distributor serving contractors, builders and remodelers in the HVAC, Plumbing, Building Products, Lighting, and Industrial/PVF sectors. Responsibilities

Warehouse and Driving duties are required for this role. Specific tasks include:

• Unloading trucks
• Receiving material
• Put-away of material
• Picking customer orders
• Staging customer orders for delivery
• Loading customer delivery trucks

Non-CDL Drivers deliver to customer shops and/or job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Each morning, the driver’s route is uploaded to a company smartphone that navigates to each stop. Drivers assist with loading their truck and review orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. Driver associates assist in the warehouse when needed. Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Warehouse

• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks are completed accurately
• Keeping the warehouse clean, neat and organized

Driver

• Help load truck
• Navigate stops using a smartphone
• Unload materials for customers
• Verify delivery for accuracy
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

Required Experience and Skills
