Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring for a Driver Check-In Coordinator to verify driver check-ins and returns, interact with customers and vendors, and ensure accurate inventory updates. The role supports a fast-paced food distribution operation and requires attention to detail.

The position offers a Sunday–Thursday night shift from 10:30pm to 7:00am with competitive hourly pay and benefits. Experience in warehouse settings and strong math/comms skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and apply basic math skills.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs occasionally and stand for long periods.
• Warehouse environment familiarity and physical stamina are essential.

Responsibilities

• Check-in Delivery Drivers and ensure accuracy of check-in/returns processes.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally; resolve questions promptly.
• Reconcile cash/receipts and file DOT logs and maintenance reports as required.
• Support inventory management by recording returns and coordinating with transport and warehouse teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the Driver Check-In Coordinator, you will be responsible for checking in Delivery Drivers and ensuring the accuracy of the check-in and returns process. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Check-in drivers upon returning from deliveries.
• Receives the Driver’s receipts of the day’s customer deliveries, reconciles cash and checks, and places in the safe. Examines and verifies all returned items to be re-entered into inventory.
• Files Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports. Reconcile damaged and returned goods and re-enter items into the appropriate categories within the inventory system, as required.
• Communicates with inventory personnel over quality-related concerns. Communicates with drivers, department managers, and others regarding delivery challenges. Assists in the coordination of vehicle repairs and maintenance as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and/or 1-3 years of related experience
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or unloading experience
• Ability to communicate effectively and apply general math skills
• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. frequently, and up to 65 lbs. occasionally
• Physical ability to stand for a significant period of time and walk continuously.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment which will expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature.
