Job summary

Echo Electric is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler with Delivery Driver duties in Council Bluffs, IA. The role involves receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and warehouse maintenance. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

The candidate will handle materials, operate forklifts, assist with shipments, and ensure accurate tracking. Strong safety awareness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy items.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Basic problem-solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and deliver to stock locations or production areas.
• Assist with warehouse optimization projects as required.
• Package and prepare finished product for shipping.
• Set up and schedule all finished product shipments.
• Provide shipment information to operations for tracking.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
• Load/unload materials from trucks using safe practices and equipment.
• Drive company trucks with care and comply with traffic laws.

We have a great opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Material Handler with Delivery Driver duties to join our team! You will ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting and assistance with general maintenance of the warehouse.

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

We Are Looking For Associates Who

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Receiving of all incoming materials and deliver to stock locations and/or production areas
• Assist Production / Inventory Manager with Warehouse optimization projects as required
• Package and prepare finished product for shipping
• Setup and schedule all finished product shipments
• Provide completed shipment information to operations team for tracking
• Follow all Safety procedures and help maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Complete all work in a timely manner and consistent with the high-quality standards and expectations of the Power Center
• Help maintain responsiveness as Power Center business and project complexity continue to increase.
• Record damaged or defective materials.
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise, reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.

What You Bring

• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacket. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
