Job summary

Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County is seeking a Warehouse / Driver to join the Operations Team. The role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient order fulfillment, safe operation of warehouse equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and receiving inventory.

As the primary backup for drivers, you may cover routes as needed; reports to Warehouse Operations Director; non-exempt status applies. The position supports our mission to provide nourishment to the community.

About the position

As a member of the Operation Team, the Warehouse / Driver plays an important role in ensuring inventory accuracy and the overall efficiency of the warehouse. The position is responsible for accurate and efficient order fulfillment, the safe operation of warehouse equipment, loading/unloading of trucks, receiving inventory, and general maintenance and cleanup duties. S/he also plays a crucial role as the primary backup for our drivers – filling in to cover routes on an as‑needed basis.
