Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport HVAC equipment, materials, tools, and supplies to job sites, customers, vendors, and company locations.
  • Load and unload trucks safely using proper material-handling techniques and equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with safety procedures and certification requirements.
  • Verify materials, quantities, delivery tickets, and job information before leaving the warehouse and upon delivery.
  • Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, or loss during transportation.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, signatures, mileage, and other documentation.
  • Provide professional, courteous service when interacting with customers, vendors, field teams, and colleagues.
  • Assist with receiving shipments, checking materials for accuracy or damage, and placing materials in designated locations.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for scheduled deliveries and job-site needs.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.
  • Handle returns, warranty items, tools, and materials from job sites or vendors as directed.
  • Communicate delivery status and issues to warehouse leadership in a timely manner.
  • Follow all traffic laws, driving policies, and safety standards; wear PPE and practice safe lifting.
  • Support general warehouse operations and be flexible for overtime or weekend work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering HVAC equipment, materials, tools, and supplies to job sites, customers, and company locations while also assisting with day-to-day warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport HVAC equipment, materials, tools, and supplies to job sites, customers, vendors, and company locations.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, using proper material-handling techniques and equipment.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance needs, safety concerns, accidents, or vehicle damage.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, signatures, mileage, and other required documentation.
  • Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers, vendors, field technicians, project teams, and other company personnel.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments, checking materials for accuracy or damage, and placing materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick, stage, organize, and prepare materials and equipment for scheduled deliveries and job-site needs.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, warehouse organization, and maintaining clean and safe work areas.
  • Pick up returns, warranty items, tools, equipment, and materials from job sites or vendors as directed.
  • Communicate delivery status, delays, material discrepancies, and other issues to warehouse leadership or appropriate team members in a timely manner.
  • Follow all traffic laws, company driving policies, Department of Transportation requirements when applicable, and all company safety standards.
  • Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe lifting and material-handling practices at all times.
  • Support general warehouse operations and assist other team members as workload and business needs require.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime and some weekend hours based on delivery schedules and operational needs.
  • Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar warehouse, delivery, or material-handling role
  • Valid driver’s license required with an acceptable driving record and ability to meet company vehicle-insurance requirements.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, delivery, distribution, HVAC, construction, or material-handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and accurately complete delivery tickets, packing slips, purchase orders, and related documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify materials and quantities accurately.
  • Ability to work independently, manage assigned routes and priorities, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing delivery schedules and operational priorities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, safe driving practices, and proper care of company vehicles, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb, and perform repetitive material-handling tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, loading-dock, job-site, and outdoor environments with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and some weekend hours as business needs require.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
