Job summary

KONE Americas in Seattle is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Driver to support warehouse operations, maintain inventory, and deliver parts and tools to job sites. You will play a pivotal role in day-to-day operations and represent the branch in the field.

You will inspect shipments, organize materials, prepare requisitions, load trucks, and ensure timely deliveries. Requires forklift knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1+ year in a warehouse environment or as a truck driver.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn forklift operation.
• Valid driver’s license and driving experience.
• Microsoft Office skills required.
• Knowledge of KONE parts, SAP system, and branch territory.
• Self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal communication with a wide range of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to inspect, label, and record incoming shipments to maintain inventory.
• Sort materials and prepare for storage or dispatch using pallets and codes.
• Prepare requests for parts, equipment, and tools via requisitions.
• Complete orders and record outgoing materials.
• Load orders into trucks via forklift or by hand.
• Transport and deliver goods to designated job sites.
• Clean warehouse and equipment and conduct inventory checks.
• Troubleshoot delivery issues and adjust inventory stock as needed.

Warehouse Driver

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Driver who would be assisting with maintaining the warehouse, inventory, and tools. You will also play a pivotal role to the operations day-to-day by being the champion at delivering parts, materials, and tools to job sites and perform the essential functions listed below:

Essential Functions

1. Collaborate with the Warehouse Associate to inspect, label, and record incoming shipments of parts, equipment, and tools by hand or on the computer to maintain inventory records.
2. Sort materials, using fork lift if necessary, to place on pallets, racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code number. You help own the organizational piece of the warehouse!
3. Prepare requests for parts, equipment and tools via requisition forms or phone.
4. Complete requested orders and record outgoing materials.
5. Load orders into truck via fork lift or hand.
6. Transport and deliver goods to and from designated job site. You are a face of our branch and helping the team get the jobs completed!

Additional Responsibilities

1. Cleans warehouse and equipment.
2. Responsible for inventory checks every six months.
3. Troubleshoot parts delivery issues (change location, missing shipments, etc.)
4. Adjustments to inventory stock

Education

High school diploma

Experience

1+ experience in a warehouse environment and/or as a truck driver.

Specific Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors

1. Knowledge of or ability to learn fork lift operation.
2. Valid driver’s license and experience operating motor vehicle - as well as enjoys driving!
3. Microsoft Office product computer skills are required.
4. Knowledge of or ability to learn KONE parts, SAP system, and the territory covered by the branch.
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision - this job provides a lot of opportunity where you go by the beat of your own drum, so we need you to be self-driven!
6. Interpersonal skills necessary to work with and receive instructions from a wide variety of individuals.

Annual Base Pay Range

The hiring range for this role is $43,400 - $57,015.

Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 5% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
