Summary

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Driver is to ensure all materials are properly packed, loaded, and delivered safely.

Essential Functions

1. Ensure proper materials, items, and equipment are packed and loaded onto the vehicle for delivery.
2. Properly load materials onto the vehicle with a forklift in a safe manner to prevent damage during loading, transport, and unloading.
3. Deliver all materials, equipment, and products to the assigned job sites. Inspect vehicles before each use.
4. Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles, both exterior and interior.
5. Return unused products and materials from work sites to vendors for credit on the company account.
6. Retrieve the original invoice from the AP Technician and provide it to the vendor.
7. Complete all required documentation, vehicle inspections, obtain signatures, and submit as required.
8. Follow proper safety protocols and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
9. Perform any other field duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates, and co-workers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problems, conflicts, and issues; strong decision-making skills.
• Organizational skills to ensure tracking systems are used effectively to maintain all required information related to ordering and production processes.
• Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet, word processing software, and order processing systems.
