Job summary

Trinity Solar, based in Holyoke, MA, is hiring a Warehouse Driver to join our team and support warehouse operations. You will drive a 26 flat-bed truck, receive shipments, manage stock, and prepare orders while maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 1 year in warehousing, valid license (CDL preferred), and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Trinity Solar offers competitive pay, healthcare, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26 flat-bed truck.
• Deliver materials to warehouses and job sites using 26 rack body truck.
• Receive and verify warehouse shipments.
• Lift and organize solar equipment materials and supplies.
• Load and unload contents of truck (heavy lifting).
• Maintain a clean truck.
• Complete/assist with warehouse work during down time.
• Inspect incoming materials (up to 50lbs.), unpack, ship, label, store, and document items.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, perform daily audits, and report discrepancies daily.
• Pick, pack, ship and prepare shipments (weighing up to 50lbs).
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks; maintain required certifications.
• Maintain a CLEAN, SAFE environment including work areas, bathrooms, and common spaces.
• Report issues promptly and coordinate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Job description

The Warehouse Driver will be responsible for driving a flat-bed truck and working within the Trinity Solar warehouse.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None
• Drive a 26 flat-bed truck
• Deliver material to warehouses and job sites using 26 rack body truck
• Receive and verify warehouse shipments
• Lift and organize solar equipment materials and supplies
• Load and unload contents of truck (heavy lifting)
• Maintain a clean truck
• Complete/assist with warehouse work during down time
• Receiving & Processing Stock: Inspect incoming materials (up to 50lbs.), unpack, ship, label, store, and document items.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, perform daily audits, and report discrepancies daily.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, ship and prepare shipments (weighing up to 50lbs).

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks; maintain required certifications.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a CLEAN, SAFE environment including work areas, bathrooms, and common spaces.
• Communication: Report issues promptly and coordinate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Valid drivers license
• CDL Preferred
• Hazmat certification is a plus
• Exemplary driving skills
• Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate inventory, order picking, packing and shipping as well as correct documentation.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch
• Physical Stamina: Requires lifting to 50 lbs. throughout each day and being on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
