Job summary

MFCP - Motion & Flow Control Products, Inc. in Corona, CA is hiring a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate.

You will pick up and deliver shipments, parts and supplies to support local operations and assist in daily warehouse functions; you’ll communicate customer instructions to the sales department and help with inventory tasks. The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills, and proficiency with MS Office; Epicor Prophet 21 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
• Ability to read and differentiate alpha/numeric characters and be attentive to details.

Responsibilities

• Pick up/deliver orders, parts and supplies to/from customers.
• Communicate customer instructions to the sales department.
• Miscellaneous pick-up and delivery of shop supplies, parts etc.
• Coordinate service and maintenance on delivery truck.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Verify incoming product and receive into system.
• Allocate, distribute, pull/pick product in proper location.
• Operate RF scanner, if required.
• Package and stage materials for shipping (wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Ship products using various methods from national carriers to customer vehicles.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
• Complete forklift/safety orientation; operate forklift as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.

Salary

$20 - $22 hour | DOE

Primary Duties

• Pick up/deliver orders, parts and supplies to/from customers.
• Communicate customer instructions and requests to the sales department.
• Miscellaneous pick-up and delivery of shop supplies, parts etc.

Basic Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Operate motor vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws & regulations.
• Must possess basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills required skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
• Ability to read and differentiate alpha/numeric characters and be attentive to details.
• Mechanical background and forklift certification (applicable state certification) are a plus.
• Adhere to strict Safety Guidelines.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

Ability to sit, stand, walk and drive. Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constantly walking/standing on cement flooring and climbing ladders as needed. Work environment may vary including warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements, office work, manufacturing, machine shops, agricultural operations, and any other specific business operations of current or potential customers.
