Job summary

Novus International in Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced warehouse associate focused on safety and inventory control. You will inspect equipment, perform safety audits, and maintain a clean, organized work area in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires 5+ years warehouse experience, HS diploma or equivalent, and ability to lift up to 55 lbs; forklift experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is beneficial; adherence to OSHA standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect dock safety equipment and trailers for SOP compliance.
• Report safety items for the site using PPE as specified.
• Perform daily housekeeping for a safe, dust-free environment.
• Conduct safety audits per state/local regulations.
• Inspect, process, and store finished goods per guidelines.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory as assigned.
• Restack or process damaged pallets for stock return.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by your Department.

Job description

• Inspect all dock safety equipment, trailers, etc. to ensure compliance with all Novus’ standard operating procedures, quality standards, and guidelines.
• Report all safety-related items for the site; utilize all PPE Gear provided and specified on all Novus SOP’s and in accordance to all state and local agencies.
• Perform housekeeping duties daily to ensure a safe and dust-free environment.
• Perform safety audits in accordance to all state and local regulations.
• Inspect, process, and store all finished goods being manufactured in accordance with all inbound inspection guidelines.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts as assigned.
• Restack/process damaged pallets for return to stock.
• All duties as assigned by your Department.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with arms or hands, climb multiple flights of stairs, crawl, crouch, kneel, write & type.
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 55lbs frequently.
• Ability to drive, climb on and off a forklift as required.
• Ability to see, speak, hear, and smell. Must have depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision.

Other Essential Skills

• Basics of Microsoft 360 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Work Environment:
This role operates in a manufacturing facility including indoor/outdoor work environments year-round. This role must be able to use personal protective equipment as required by OSHA standards. The role may work with or around machinery, powered industrial vehicles, electricity, compressed gas cylinders, high pressures, hot & cold temperatures working conditions, heights, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, some wet/slippery surfaces, vibrations, and elevated noise levels. This role is frequently requires interaction with other employees as well as external clients and consultants, as well as work alone. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Must be able to interface with digital control systems.
