Job summary

Top Box Foods in Chicago, IL is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Associate to support our Home Grocery Delivery Team. You will help prepare and deliver fresh produce to families and community partners, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Act as a Top Box Foods ambassador while working in the community, maintaining knowledge of ongoing programs and community resources that increase healthy food access.

Top Box Foods (TBF) is a community-driven nonprofit that creates access to healthy and affordable food. We do this by facilitating home Grocery Delivery Programs throughout the Chicagoland area to Seniors and Folks who need it most.

We are currently seeking the support of a Delivery Driver to support our Home Grocery Delivery Team.

Additional this person will assist with all programmatic distribution efforts including preparation of deliveries and warehouse support.

Main Objectives

• SAFELY facilitate packaging and delivery of fresh produce boxes and other healthy groceries for families, community partners, and community events
• RESPONSIBLY operate Top Box Foods vehicles and equipment to ensure quality and integrity of all staff, products, and services
• POSITIVELY represent organizational values and expectations in both team and community settings at all times

Compensation

• $20.00 per hour starting pay based on experience and availability, paid bi-weekly
• Unlimited20%employeediscountoffallTBFgroceries

Schedule

• Flexibleschedulingbasedonemployeeavailability,daysavailablearetypicallyMonday-Saturday
• 30-40 hours a week scheduling available, with the opportunity to work overtime, increase hours/days and advance depending on availability, job performance, and interest
