Job summary

Factory Motor Parts Co in Des Moines, IA is seeking a driven Warehouse Dispatcher to coordinate delivery drivers, support location operations, and ensure inventory accuracy and timely processing of orders.

Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking a driven dynamic business leader to act as a Warehouse Dispatcher. We offer plenty of room for professional growth and advancement.

Job Responsibilities

• Scheduling delivery drivers
• Assist location management in the day to day operations of location
• Oversee inventory cycle counts
• Ensure shelves are being stocked as inventory arrives
• Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Oversee and ensure customer returns are processed accurately
• Provide customer service as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to handle hazardous materials

In addition to the Warehouse duties, this position may be responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of customer's automotive parts to their location using a company provided vehicle; per location needs.

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of dispatch experience
• 3-5 years of previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
• Positive work ethic
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to interact with various levels of management and customers
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Previous forklift experience is a plus
• Valid Class C or D license; Class A or B is a plus
• Clean Driving Record
• 21 years of age or older
