Job summary

VanZandt Controls is seeking a General Warehouse and Delivery Driver to support warehouse staff and ensure customer needs are met. You will assist with inventory, respond to walk-in customers, and contribute to accurate product knowledge and satisfaction.

The role involves supporting the sales team, handling quotations, packing, and occasional deliveries, with a 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. schedule, Monday to Friday, in Texas. Training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related warehouse experience; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Be able to drive a pickup truck and pull a trailer – No CDL required.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas or Electrical/Automation industries is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with Enterprise and CRM software.
• Exception verbal and written communication skills; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Learn new products, procedures, and applications.
• Support sales team to procure equipment and supplies.
• Complete quotations and maintain activity records using Enterprise and CRM software.
• Check in materials and match PO's with received items.
• Pull parts for production and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Ensure items are shelved by part numbers; handle packing and labeling.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person, by email and by phone.
• Assist in conducting physical inventory counts.
