Job summary

Jennings Mechanical is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver to support our commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical construction operations. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, maintaining, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment while ensuring timely deliveries to jobsites and company locations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to operate a pickup truck, cargo van, or box truck.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
• Accurately stage materials for upcoming projects and service calls.
• Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and warehouse equipment.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, consumables, and warehouse supplies.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Label, stock, and rotate materials as needed.
• Keep warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate material returns and warranty items with vendors when required.
• Deliver materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently to jobsites, vendors, and company offices.
• Verify delivery contents and obtain signatures or documentation when required.
• Communicate delivery status and any issues promptly with project managers, service coordinators, and warehouse personnel.
