Job summary

Valley Farms Supply, part of Headwater Companies, is seeking a warehouse and delivery associate to receive stock, review bills of lading, and assist with sales orders for shipment. You will pick, load and deliver products safely and efficiently to customers via delivery truck or counter, working with the branch staff to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include inventory control, order preparation, shipment inspection, and safe vehicle operation.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills for daily interactions with customers and team.
• Performs basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Reads and understands policy manuals and operating instructions.
• Applies common sense to follow detailed oral instructions.
• Solves problems with a few concrete variables in standard situations.
• Plans work sequences and may help schedule tasks for others.
• Performs moderately repetitive tasks using basic office and shop tools.
• Meets MVR standards as required by insurers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse with organized stock.
• Prepare shipments, pull stock, and generate invoices.
• Receive shipments, inspect for damage, and audit accuracy.
• Store stock in ERP with proper location assignments.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Provide customer service as needed.
• Operate and maintain delivery vehicles and equipment safely.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform basic maintenance per schedule.
