Job summary

Sunbelt Natural Foods Distributors, Inc. seeks a dependable Warehouse Associate / Driver to join our team in New York. This hands-on role blends warehouse tasks with customer deliveries, requiring safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

You will pick and prepare orders, load vehicles, securely transport products, verify orders and docs, and maintain clean, organized facilities and records. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Experience in warehouse and delivery environment preferred.
• Forklift experience a plus; training may be provided.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load delivery vehicles and secure products for transport.
• Safely transport and deliver products according to routes and schedules.
• Review orders and documentation for accuracy post-delivery.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading at customer locations.
• Follow transportation laws and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe driving record and proper vehicle care.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Receive incoming products, verify quantities and quality.
• Stock and rotate products using FIFO methods.
• Monitor expiration dates and assist with inventory counts.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment when trained.
• Maintain records for deliveries, temperature, maintenance, and bills of lading.
• Keep warehouses and trucks clean and organized.
• Communicate with staff, management, customers, and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
