Job summary

White Cap is seeking a warehouse associate to perform loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift operations, fabrication, counter and occasional delivery to customers. This role may involve driving a company vehicle or a personal vehicle under 10,001 lbs; an MVR check will be conducted and must be acceptable.

Candidates should have a HS Diploma or GED (strongly preferred) and 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, sorts, pulls orders, stocks, stages, fabricates and transports goods.
• Checks items against purchase orders and packing slips; reports shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
• Files orders for delivery; stores supplies and equipment in proper locations.
• Operates forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Drives company vehicles to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials; backup emergency driver (Non-DOT).
• Performs routine vehicle and supply inspections to ensure road safety.
• Maintains records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
