Job summary

MISA CALIFORNIA is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations including receiving, organizing, and preparing orders for delivery. You will help maintain accurate inventory and ensure products are handled safely to support excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include unloading and delivering cases, coordinating delivery schedules, managing inventory, picking orders, and operating pallet jacks or forklift when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; second language a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs; operate pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

• Unloads and delivers cases of products to customers.


• Communicates with the routing administrator to coordinate delivery scheduling.


• Handles merchandise with care to ensure products arrive in top condition.


• Performs inventory control functions to maintain accuracy.


• Picks and pulls orders with precision, verifying product received.


• Organizes and maintains warehouse supplies and staging areas.


• Returns signed delivery paperwork daily.


• Shrink-wraps pallets by hand as needed.


• Keeps production and staging lanes clear to maximize efficiency.


• Operate a forklift when needed.


• Responsible for maintaining an organized, clean and safe warehouse environment. Adhere to laws requiring warehouse safety protocols as well as company standards


• Ensure product is located in appropriate locations.


• Report any product damages, loss or unsellable conditions to management team


• Handle merchandise with care to insure it arrives at the store in the best possible condition


• Communicate with team members in different departments regarding situations that arise related to their accounts inventory or orders


• Provide excellent customer service on the phone and during delivery


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in warehouse or distribution operations preferred.


• Ability to lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.


• Ability to push and pull up to 200 lbs.


• Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
