Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a day shift opportunity with a local manufacturing company. This position begins with warehouse work and provides the opportunity to become certified to operate a sit-down forklift after being hired on.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily warehouse operations

• Move, organize, and prepare materials throughout the warehouse

• Perform general warehouse duties during the initial training period

• Complete required forklift testing and training

• Learn and follow proper forklift safety procedures

• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous forklift experience is highly preferred

• Must successfully complete a forklift testing

• Must be dependable and able to perform all required warehouse duties

• Ability to safely handle the physical demands of a warehouse environment

• Willingness to learn and complete forklift training

Important Forklift Information:

• The first 3 months will be spent working in the warehouse while demonstrating the ability to perform the required duties.

• A forklift test must be completed first as part of the evaluation process.

• After being hired on by the client, the employee will have the opportunity to complete training and become forklift certified.

• The position involves operating a sit-down forklift once properly trained and certified.

• Actual forklift operation will begin after being hired on and completing the required training/certification.

Schedule: Day Shift

Pay: $17.10/hr
