Job summary

Nebraskaland Inc is seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Manager to oversee inbound warehouse operations at the Hunts Point market. You will lead receiving, inventory movement, put away and replenishment while ensuring safety, accuracy and productivity.

Requirements include a bachelor or associate degree and at least 5 years of warehouse leadership in food distribution or cold storage, with strong leadership and bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Weekend shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree required.
• Min 5 years of warehouse leadership/supervisory experience in distribution.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, replenishment, put away and distribution processes.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching and employee development skills.
• Experience with WMS and productivity tracking/reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound day-shift warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory movement, put away, replenishment and slotting.
• Manage OS&D processes and inventory verification to maintain accuracy and service levels.
• Supervise receivers, lumpers and Hilo operators; coach for performance improvement.
• Monitor KPIs, labor efficiency, staffing levels and workflow to minimize downtime and overtime.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, housekeeping, loss prevention and equipment procedures across shifts.
