Job summary

Safe-Way Door is seeking a Distribution Center Coordinator/Associate in Chatsworth, CA to join a fast-paced warehouse team. The role blends warehouse operations, customer service, and administrative tasks in an on-site setting.

You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, processing orders, inventory control, and daily customer interactions while supporting sales and care teams. Demonstrated reliability and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or similar environment.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, and prepare garage doors, hardware, and materials for shipment.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
• Support continuous improvements in warehouse operations.
• Enter and process customer orders accurately.
• Process warranty claims from start to finish.
• Generate invoices and maintain accurate order documentation.
• Assist customers by phone, email, and in person.
• Verify order accuracy before pickup or delivery.
• Communicate order status and resolve customer concerns.
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Care to provide outstanding service.
• Maintain accurate records for orders, shipments, and inventory.
• Support operational reporting and performance metrics.
• Assist with front office and visitor coordination.
• Provide cross-functional support throughout the distribution center.
