Job summary

Lineage in Riverside, CA is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary warehouse environment, including freezer and cold storage areas.

This role performs routine and deep-cleaning tasks throughout warehouse aisles, docks, storage areas, and freezer spaces to support food safety, employee safety, and operational efficiency. You will operate floor cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of chemicals.

Qualifications

• Experience performing janitorial, warehouse sanitation, or industrial cleaning duties preferred.
• Ability to operate floor scrubbers, floor sweepers, pallet jacks, and other cleaning equipment.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and related products.
• Cold storage/freezer environments as low as -20°F (-25°C).
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs. (9 kg); requirements may vary by facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairways, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain warehouse floors, storage areas, and operational workspaces.
• Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of warehouse interior areas, including racking, docks, aisles, and workstations.
• Clean and sanitize freezer and cold storage areas, including removing ice buildup and maintaining safe, sanitary conditions.
• Wash facility floors and remove trash, debris, and discarded materials throughout the facility.
• Perform general sanitation and maintenance duties throughout the warehouse, freezer, and support areas.
• Monitor sanitation supply inventory levels and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Job description

Pay: $17 - $19/hr DOE

Schedules: Sun-Wed 4AM

The Warehouse Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary warehouse environment, including freezer and cold storage areas. This role performs routine and deep-cleaning tasks throughout warehouse aisles, docks, storage areas, and freezer spaces to support food safety, employee safety, and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairways, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain warehouse floors, storage areas, and operational workspaces
• Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of warehouse interior areas, including racking, docks, aisles, and workstations
• Clean and sanitize freezer and cold storage areas, including removing ice buildup and maintaining safe, sanitary conditions
• Wash facility floors and remove trash, debris, and discarded materials throughout the facility
• Perform general sanitation and maintenance duties throughout the warehouse, freezer, and support areas
• Collect broken pallet pieces, remove obstructions, and maintain safe walking and working surfaces
• Maintain clean, organized, and debris-free grounds surrounding the facility
• Operate floor cleaning equipment and sanitation tools safely and effectively
• Ensure cleaning materials, equipment, and sanitation tools are maintained in good working condition
• Properly store, secure, and handle cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment after use
• Monitor sanitation supply inventory levels and notify management when replenishment is needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with warehouse sanitation projects and facility support tasks as assigned
• Operate or work around warehouse machinery and material handling equipment when necessary
• Support facility cleanliness initiatives and special cleaning assignments during peak operational periods
• Respond promptly to sanitation issues to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Experience performing janitorial, warehouse sanitation, or industrial cleaning duties preferred
• Ability to operate floor scrubbers, floor sweepers, pallet jacks, and other cleaning equipment
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and related products
• Cold storage/freezer environments as low as -20°F (-25°C)
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting
• Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs. (9 kg) ; requirements may vary by facility
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and holidays when needed
• Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, including areas that may be loud

Pay Range:$16.90 - $26.11
