Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Cross Dock Associate for the 2nd shift. You will operate an electric pallet jack, load and unload pallets, and ensure pallets flow to the correct doors and trucks at the warehouse.

Full-time position with paid training, weekly pay, and benefits from day one, plus tuition reimbursement and career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operating an electric riding pallet jack
• Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers
• Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility
• Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality
• Prioritizing work within your assigned zone
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Position Overview

As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

You will contribute by:

• Operating an electric riding pallet jack
• Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers
• Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility
• Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality
• Prioritizing work within your assigned zone
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
