Job summary

Brothers Plumbing Heating & Electric is seeking a qualified warehouse associate in Denver to support purchasing, receiving, storing and distributing materials. You will act as ambassador for the company, work with team, and maintain accurate inventory.

You will lift and move materials, operate company vehicles for deliveries, follow safety rules, complete paperwork on time and participate in training. Strong organization, basic math, Excel knowledge, and map book utilization are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Knowledge and understanding of map book utilization.
• Be capable of driving the vehicles within the Brothers Plumbing & Heating, Inc. truck fleet.

• Drive company vehicles to supply houses, city buildings, job sites and any other location that many be needed to pick up or deliver material, permits and other items as requested.
• Label material and equipment.
• Inventory warehouse and technicians’ trucks.
• Stock materials in warehouse as requested.

Job description

The warehouse counter performs tasks assigned by the warehouse manager which include but are not limited to: activities related to ordering, receiving, storing and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies and products.

Essential Functions

• The ability to lift 80 pounds regularly.
• The ability to pull 164 lbs. with dolly up flight of stairs.
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• The ability to safely climb ladders.
• The ability to work in extreme weather.
